ARTISTS STATEMENT -  

For me, making art is a uniquely expansive form of exploration, in part because the process demands seamless synthesis of such opposing forces of ideas and materials that failure seems inevitable.  The struggle is, beyond humbling, a kind of lever thrown into the veneer of daily experience.
